Hi, My Name is Mark Salter and i am the founder of Voipmonkey.com. I started the Voipmonkey blog to help me consolidate all the information and experiences that I gather / go through on a daily basis.

Day to Day I work for a large IT company as a Senior UC Consultant, working on many projects and technologies ranging from Voice to Security.
I mainly work with Cisco but do not limit my adventures to this solely. Asterisk,ARC,Mitel,Checkpoint,Netscreen and many more.
I also dabble in a little programming too (Kept going from university days) being a qualified Cobol programmer (Who uses Cobol any more) which has allowed me the opportunity to develop some extensions / classes in java for UCCX.
